Following the government announcement today, Auckland will be joining the rest of the country at Alert Level 1 from midnight on Wednesday 7th October. As Aucklanders we should be extremely proud of the sacrifices and hard work put in to bringing us down to Level 1 again.

Please find the document below on what Parafed Auckland will look like at Level 1.

Yesterday, we were told that Alert Level 3 will be extended until Sunday midnight. This will mean that next week we enter into Alert Level 2.

The below file shows what you can expect from the Parafed Auckland team as we initiate events and programmes during Alert Level 2.

All programmes will not start next. We will resume programmes as venues and coaches are safe to do so.

Keep up to date with programmes and events through our Facebook page and the Parafed Huddle Newsletter.

As of 12pm today, Auckland has been placed back into Alert Level 3. This is due to a community transmission and as a country, we must take these actions to keep as many people as possible safe.

This does mean that all of our programmes have been cancelled until Auckland returns to a safer Alert Level.

Going forward please download the NZ COVID Tracer App so that you can best prepare for an interaction with COVID-19.

Please continue to use proper COVID safety protocols. Wash your hands, avoid touching your face, maintain physical distancing from people outside of your bubble, stay at home unless necessary to leave and keep in contact with family and friends.

We are incredibly proud of all that our members and community have done and sacrificed in order for the country to reach Level 1. It is easy to forget the challenges that we faced during lockdown and those we face now as we enter our new version of normality. We would like to remind our members and community that we are here if you ever need.

Please find the document below of what Parafed Auckland looks like in Alert Level 1.

Tomorrow evening we are moving from Alert Level 3 to Alert Level 2.

This means further flexibility as an individual, but higher demands for businesses and public hygiene.

Please remember to wash your hands regularly, maintain 1m between people you know that are not in your bubble and 2m between strangers.

We will provide a press release in the very near future to give you more information about how programmes and events will look for us.

27/04/2020

Alert Level 3 will begin at midnight tonight.

This does not mean that we are out of lock down, but it does provide more flexibility.

Programmes and events with us will still be inactive until we can safely provide sports and recreation opportunities.

Please stay safe and keep your bubble as small as you can!

We are so proud of our team during this lock down and we are very excited to see you all soon once we can do so safely.

23/03/2020

Alert Level 4 Lockdown has been initiated by the Government.

Please respect this by staying in your bubble, watching your hands regularly and avoiding any contact with strangers.

We will continue to provide information and opportunities to stay active while we’re in Alert Level 4. Keep updated on our website and social media platforms to see what we’ve got planned.

19/03/2020

Due to the unfolding events of COVID-19, we have decided to cancel all events and programmes until safe to resume. From the 19th March 2020, there will be NO Parafed Auckland classes or training sessions.

This has been a difficult decision to make, but for the safety of all our athletes, members and their families, we would rather go without, then the possibility of sickness.

We are still here to support you through this difficult time with information and advice while this world event unfolds. Please contact any of our team at any time if you have questions or need any sort of support.
