Women's Wheelchair Basketball Training

WHAT

Following the successful Kelly Griffin Women's Wheelchair Basketball Challenge in May, we're back with FREE monthly training sessions leading up to the 2018 Challenge in April. With few female only opportunities, these sessions allow girls and women come together and play competitive sport. With a good core group of ladies, the sessions are fun and a great way to improve your game in a more relaxed atmosphere. Always on the look out for new players, newbies are welcome!

WHO

Training is for any female over 12 years old. We would love to see as many experienced players as possible as well as those new to the game, or those returning.

Many people don't realise that you don't have to be a wheelchair user in daily life to be eligible for wheelchair basketball, as long as you have some impairment in your legs or feet, and are able to self-propel a wheelchair, you can play!

Also, if you have an able-bodied friend or family member that would like to play, why not bring them along?

If you've got any questions regarding whether you can play then please get in touch :)
