We need your help! Within Auckland only 19.5% of the physically disabled participate in sport and active recreation, against 35.5% of the non-disabled population. This shocking inequality is likely an underestimation, so the need to invest in quality, sustainable provision is clear.

Most disability sports (especially for those in a wheelchair) require costly equipment, (an average sports chair costs about $3500). Your support will help us to provide equitable access to our community - and this work makes a real difference! Our members enjoy tremendous benefits, physically, socially and emotionally.

Membership

Online registration for members. Members are eligible for scholarships, can register for free use of the gym as a community user (conditions apply), are invited to our annual events and will receive regular updates from the office of Parafed Auckland and important national and international news.
