Pasifika Strength & Conditioning Programme
Whilst 'Strength & Conditioning' may sound intimidating, this programme is anything but! Consisting of different body weight and resistance exercises as well as some cardio, sessions are designed to improve your fitness in a social environment where you can have fun at the same time.
Since everyone has different life commitments, the 4.30-6.00pm sessions are 'drop in' meaning you can come for as much or as little as you want.
So, if you're after some motivation to get fitter for health reasons or are trying to improve your sporting performance - this is it! Why not bring the family along to join in?
The programme is open to all ages, male and female, and caters for visual impairments and a wide range of physical disabilities including, but not limited to: cerebral palsy, spina bifida, spinal cord injuries, amputees and short stature.
With activities that can be modified for any impairment and ability level, this is perfect for anyone whether new to sport and exercise, those who already train regularly, or a family member who wanted to come along too.
If you've got any questions regarding whether you can get involved then please get in touch :)
Sessions will run on Wednesday evenings from 4.30-6.00pm with a break over Christmas and New Year.
Location: Auckland Spinal Rehabilitation Unit Gym, 30 Bairds Road, Otara.
