Tom Smith, CEO
Tom is tasked with leading Parafed Auckland forward over the coming years. Originally form the UK Tom emigrated to New Zealand with his family. He has been involved with disability and Para Sport since 2007, working on the 2012 Paralympics then with Special Olympics GB, Sport England and The England and Wales Cricket Board.

Yann Roux, Development Manager
Freshly arrived in New Zealand from France, Yann is an accomplished Sports Coach but also a Marketing expert. He is mixing both to support Parafed Auckland enabling more disabled people to enjoy sport and recreation. His tasks are to develop and implement the marketing and communications plan to raise awareness of Parafed Auckland.

Tina Harris, Administration and Office Manager
Tina is responsible for the day to day management of Parafed Auckland’s financial administration, booking of the gym and all equipment in addition to many other duties.
Tina is a very proud mother of two and Nana of four. Tina has over 20 years’ experience in administration across a number of industries.

Katie Owen, Para Sport Sector Development Manager
Katie has come from the bottom of the South Island with her passion for Para sport to join the Parafed Auckland team. Katie’s role is to work collaboratively with key stake holders, local clubs and participants to develop and improve new and existing opportunities, to enable more quality sporting experiences for our physically disabled Auckland community.

Sarah Murphy, Junior Development Officer
With a passion for developing opportunities for people with disabilities to participate in sport, she is looking forward to being part of the Parafed Auckland team. She will be supporting Katie as Development Manager on the delivery of Parafed’s Junior Programme across Auckland. Specifically she will be involved in the Halberg Games, the monthly junior recreation programme as well as junior clubs and sessions.
