It's that time of year again when Waitakere's young sporting achievers can apply for a scholarship through the Don Oliver Youth Sport Foundation. The scholarships are in their 13th year and have supported many of our youth who have gone on to be top sports people.

 

To be eligible you must fulfill the following criteria:

 

- Applicants must live in Waitakere City
- Applicants must be aged between 14 and 21 years
- Applicants must be pre-elite

 

Applications close on 30 June 2010 and the winners will be announced at the Don Oliver Awards dinner and auction on the 19 of August at the Trust Stadium. Note that all applications must be endorsed by a Regional Sports Organisation, club or coach.

 

Applications are open from 1 April 2010 until 30 June 2010.
